Saif Al Majidi
Senior Bilingual Case Manager
Saif Al Majidi came to the United States in 2010 as a refugee from Iraq. Originally a dentist, he started working in refugee resettlement in 2012, providing case management, connecting clients to community services, and providing Arabic interpretation. Since 2018, he was employed with DeKalb County Family and Children’s Services assisting clients with applications for public benefits and offering interpretation services. He understands the challenges of navigating a new country with all of its specific systems and financial hardships, and is dedicated to supporting those who need help the most.
When he’s not at work, you will find Saif on the phone helping his own community members navigate American systems and processes, ensuring that all have access to essential services despite language barriers. Saif is a certified night owl, enjoys watching the Iraq National Football Team and Chelsea Football Club, and being a new dad.
