Rebecca Wagner

Senior Director of Marketing + Communications


When Rebecca first moved to Atlanta from Nashville, she saw a video promoting Giving Kitchen and told her husband, “I have to be a part of this somehow.” A few years passed and stars aligned, and now Rebecca brings over 15 years of marketing and brand communications experience to Giving Kitchen’s team. Her passion for the food service industry can be traced back to her first job as the entire front of house for a small meat-and-three in Mississippi. From there she worked in fine dining before heading off to college to receive her BA in political science with a focus in philosophy and vocation from Millsaps College where she found her calling for marketing and communications.

Rebecca has had award-winning success in digital marketing and public relations campaigns, and her years of restaurant marketing experience supporting franchise development and expansion for fast casual and quick-service restaurant concepts taught her what truly drives engagement: knowing and believing in those you serve as much as you know and believe in your organization. Whether it’s a food truck with five employees or a chain with over 500 restaurants, she believes that taking care of your people is the best business practice there is. 

 When she’s not busy getting everyone onboard the GK train, Rebecca is an obsessive restaurant checker-outer, red wine and sour beer lover, and a cautiously confident home cook.
