Stability Network Case Manager

Melanie Futrell, LMSW (she/her) was first introduced to the food service industry while working as a baker at a French pastry shop in her hometown of Tallahassee, Florida. After graduating with her MSW from Florida State University in 2019, Melanie moved to Atlanta to pursue a career in the mental health field. Melanie’s passion for creating community led her to work as a group therapist, where she built genuine, compassionate connections with those she served. Melanie returned to the food industry in 2022 to work as a pastry baker at Evergreen Butcher + Baker. Melanie now seeks to combine her clinical skills and love for the food industry as a Stability Network Case Manager at Giving Kitchen.  

Melanie resides in Kirkwood, and when not working, she can be found baking banana bread, reading fantasy novels, and spending time with her partner,
